Following Christ

“Oh, the joys of those….. who delight in doing everything the Lord wants; day and night they think about his law.” Psalms 1:1-2
“For the Lord watches over the the path of the godly, but the path of the wicked leads to
destruction.” Psalms 1:6
How appropriate is the first Psalm of the bible. It sets the tone for the whole of the Psalms. In fact it helps set the tone for anyone willing to know Christ. Good and evil is not set out by how we as humans view the world. No, good and evil is separated by whether we are of the Lord or not. The Lord is good, no one or nothing else is good apart from God. The Lord is life, this is constantly seen in the Psalms. Heed the words of the first Psalm and know that if you choose life, you choose to follow the Lord. Oh, the joys! How can there be disappointment for those that have life-giving water.
